1. Sign the back of the check you are depositing.
2. Log into our Mobile Banking app on your device. See How do I use the Mobile Banking app? for instructions.
3. On the Account summary screen, touch the camera icon (below your account balance in the center) to select Mobile Check Capture.
4 . Confirm the account into which you want to deposit the check is displayed under Deposit into Account. (If not, touch the arrow at the right bottom of the account box and select the correct account.) Touch the Amount of Check field to activate your keyboard. Enter the amount of the check you are depositing, then touch Next.
5. Verify the account and deposit amount are correct. Then touch OK. To make changes, touch Cancel.
6. Place the check face up on a flat, dark-colored, well-lit, non-reflective surface. Ensure the top, bottom and side edges of the check are visible in your camera preview window prior to taking the picture. When the image is set up correctly, touch Capture Front of Check.
7. Preview the image after taking the picture to make sure it’s clear and meets the requirements, then touch Save to save the image and upload it to the app. If it’s not right, delete it and re-take the photo.
8. Turn the check over and position it the same as in Step 6. Then touch Capture Back of Check.
9. Preview the image after taking the picture to make sure it’s clear and meets the requirements, then touch Save to save the image and upload it to the app. If it’s not right, delete it and re-take the photo.
10. If the images were good, the app will complete the deposit and return you to the Mobile Check Capture start screen. To verify it completed, touch Previous Deposits to view your previous deposits. You should see the deposit you just completed at the top of the list.
Deposits made by 6pm ET will be credited that business day. Deposits made after 6pm ET will be credited the next business day.
